100 % guilty

Allright allright, I am so 100 % guilty of being very very slow with adding some new pictures on this blog. So for all the people that missed it very much and all that, here we start with just a few, more will follow.

Just as much as I love my Niece Eva, here we have some fun jumping around on the couch. Well actually Eva had the most fun while she jumped on my stomach for a while. Gives one some good abs :)

youth encounter weekend of my church

Hey there :), I thought it was time for a little update again.

Last weekend I went to a youth encounter weekend organized by the church I am visiting at the moment. Although I didn't like it all the way I really learned a lot of good stuff. This pic was taken during a workshop about understanding and discovering God's will in our lives. Don't I look like a model student? I should sent it to the school I was attending during my teenage years haha!

This was during worship. They also let the young people do the worship, I think they did great. The youth pastor preached about dreams. How it was Davids dream to have the ark of covenant near him. And when he got it, it went wrong, one of the priest who was getting the ark died. David his dream ended in a nightmare. Like our dreams do sometimes. But David did not give up, he started to investigate in himself and in what went wrong. He discovered he had not been obedient by transporting the ark of covenant on a cart. Than he just started over, and got the ark, carried on the shoulders of the priest, like it should have happened the first time. And Davids dream comes through. Think it is a good message about not giving up, doing some investigation in yourself and go on like God told us to do.

A day in Antwerp, Belgium

I was too ill to travel to the states and after 9 days being ill, I thought I would be healthy enough to enjoy a day in Antwerp.

After a while I got too tired, I still was a little too ill to walk around all day. So we went to a nice place outside, enjoyed the sun and had some hot choco :)

We got snow!!

Yahoo!!!!! Early this morning when I had to get my bike to get to work.... this was what I found!!! Snow! yesyesyes! This is the first little snow, more is coming! Jelous already? Okay I have to admit, I kind of was frozen when I finally reached work this morning, 25 minutes freezing temperatures and snow is kind of of cold if you have to cycle to work :) But I sure loved it!

Hilda in Switzerland

Hey hey all of you! It was about time to put some new pics on my blog wasn't it!
Anyway, As you all know, I started my new job in a city called Dordrecht which is close to Rotterdam. It is a bueatiful city by the way but pics of that will follow later some day.
I went for my work, with all the clients to Switzerland for a work week. We had to go on a survival with them, climb up some mountains, and the clients had to follow their program. Which we had to organize alltogether. We had church services and at least 20 people got safed! wow! God touched a lot of lives, broken people, He healed, He delivered, He comforted. It was amazing to see what God was doing in that place. He, ofcourse, did not skip me. It was a good time, I worked long long days and it was good. So, from my time up there, some pics!

There sure were a lot of nice things to see in Switzerland. This lake is in Vallorbe. The place we stayed.

This river came out of the mountain. I was really wondering how that happens, till I went into the mountian, through some caves and found out there were underground rivers and lakes. It was beautiful.

Those are all mountaintops... pfew! It is high!

Hey! They have a Starbucks in Switzerland! Darn them, why there and not in The Netherlands? Too bad I had no time due the busy schedule to get over there and get a coffee :(
